I recently had the pleasure to visit Geales of Notting Hill for brunch with friends. Loved the new brunch menu, the seafood selection and the friendly service. I shall be back for more!!!

We are regulars to Geales. However, we have noticed that fish (Cod or haddock) of the fish & chips gets smaller with each visit. 18 months ago the fish was large, twice the size of cod/haddock of our last visit. I understand the cost of...More

very well known restaurant for their fish menu which was really up (and above) expectations! we've gone for the traditional fish and chips served in a super nice composition with very fresh fries and quality tar tar sauce. your deserts are amazing as well!

It came highly recommended by friends and didn't disappoint a bit. Staff was extremely friendly and passionate, providing great service and helping in choosing a dish from a wide variety on the menu. The fish&chips and fishcake in a mild curry sauce was our absolute...More

They're usually closed on a Monday night, but they'd opened as an experiment and the place was soon bustling--locals, I'd guess, drawn by what seemed like consistent quality and cheerful, casual service. We were a family of five, two of whom were doing an informal...More

Could be the best reasonably priced fish + chips I have had for years. Sat at an outside table on a warm evening and had a very good meal. Packed with tourists and very obviously locals so a good mix. Service was OK given the...More

This wasn't planned but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. I had a red mullet for the first time. It was really nice.

We went for lunch on a quiet Saturday afternoon. A great selection of fish and an up market but relaxed atmosphere. If your looking for basic food that tastes great with excellent presentation this is the place to go. I would recommend going at night...More

Probably not the best service in human history, but the best fish and chips I know and medium prized!

Geales has been London's most loved neighbourhood fish restaurant for over 70 years. Since 1939 this reputable restaurant has been a firm favorite with devoted locals and celebrities' alike. Geales offers a menu that retains the great British chip shop mentality... No frills, just fresh fish and fabulous service. The updated historic site provides a rustic yet chic local diner with a relaxed, nostalgic nod to the brand heritage.
