Business colleague and I stumbled into this place after long day of work. Although challenging to find the entrance, well worth the effort. Feels like you are eating in Italy- small, charming atmosphere with chef/owner as host. Homemade burrata was fabulous; pastas authentic, and wine selection good. Will definitely be back next time in London.

Being near Leicester Square, I was not expecting this restaurant to be cheap. We came in quite late after the theatre and this was the only place serving so we were grateful. We both ordered a basic pasta dish and to be honest for the price we paid, we expected at least a bit more food. The carbonara, my brother... More

Third visit with my wife. Authentic food, great wine and good service. Engage with the owner and staff and they will respect this. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Well worth a visit.

We had the best dinner& enjoyed Pino's hospitality !! My friend, Martha and I arrived in London, we were exhausted and just happened upon Giovanni's. it was Valentine's Day and they were booked, so we made a reservation for the next night. When we arrived, we we're greeted by Pino, with a warm embrace, and seated right away. Pino was great,... More

Best thing is location. Quality and quantity of food and service was very poor. The only thing served quickly was the house wine at £21. Only 1 serving of tiramisu was available and washing facilities in the gents loo were out of order.

My husband and I had dinner at Giovanni's last night on the 15th of February 2017 just before seeing Rigoletto. The first thing we noticed was the sign outside the restaurant which said "My wife says this is the best restaurant in London and she is always right!". The entrance to the restaurant was hidden in a dark alley. There... More

Delish lasagne and wonderful starters with friendly service. Pino's Italian flair is a delight -- viva Italia! Keep it authentic and enjoy Italian in this treasure restaurant

I must say I'm really disappointed with size of the portion. Service was okay, I ordered shell shape pasta with broccoli and the dish was watery. After dinner I went for another dinner as portion was't filling. I the loved decoration.

This restaurants presents as a hidden treasure - glimpsed from the court - and entered through the back alley. It's interior is tiny, traditional, romantic and inviting. The owner, Pino, has the most captivating smile and knows how to make everyone feel welcome. The Italian offerings are best to linger over - whether it's the bread, an appetizer (charcuterie/cheese plate!)... More
