I adore The Golden Hind. I stay in Marylebone when on business in London and dine here often. It's located in Marylebone Lane, just off the High Street around the corner from The Wallace Collection. The menu offers fish, steamed or fried, chips and the...More

Have eaten here many times over the past 10 years. You need to book now. The place has had a makeover as has the prices, food very good, remains in the same family. Not BYO any longer, but wine reasonable.

We were very happy with the food - both fish and chips were very fresh and well made. We came at about 2 PM and the place was a little bit hectic, which affected service, but not not enough to lower the score 🙂

The concierge at The Hyatt Regency recommended this restaurant when we said we wanted fish&chips. It's a no-frills place, very simple setting and limited menu. The fish & chips were very good; crispy batter and very fresh fish. Large serving for a good price. Beats...More

So this is a casual Fish restaurant in a very nice area and it delivers excellent Fish and Chips . Interestingly the white Scicilian house wine might have been one of the best whites in a 10 day trip to Paris and London but it...More

We came here with one purpose only and that was the Treacle pudding and the Sticky Toffee pudding, with a side trip of a Greek salad. Let's start with the salad. As we know it is sometimes difficult to get a good salad in Europe,...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
