This is actually a standard decent curry house. If you want to try something a little unusual then try the special Nepalese dishes like Momo (Nepali dumplings) and Choyola. They will still taste indian’ish but a little different. Place and service were both pretty good.

A group of us met at the Great Nepalese on a Saturday evening (sadly next to a stag group). Despite not being that busy (every table in our area had already been served) the waiter ignored us for half an hour. When we ordered he...More

Service is friendly and professional. Third generation family restaurant, and it shows! Food is generous, full of flavour but not overly spicy to Western palates. Restaurant is not huge, and often fully booked for dinner - booking recommended.

Opted for this place as we'd never had Nepalese food before and we made sure to order from the Nepalese menu. However the food was underwhelming, didn't taste any better than what could have made at home. There were no special flavours, instead we had...More

Been here this week as I was around. The restaurant is cosy with nice decor. Food was yummy and smell great::the taste is different than typical Nepalese cuisine. Had a standard set food for one,,all the curry seems cooked on the same sauce::taste quite similar...More

Located nr Euston train and bus station. Really warm welcome. The onion bhaji starter is fab and served with a raita. There are many types of different curries & Nepalese specialities. We tried a fish curry and a hotter chicken curry, both of which were...More

Despite none of our party having visited before, we arrived with high hopes and were nor disappointed. Frequent Kingfishers and spicy fare were dispatched with ease and the conversation flowed freely amongst the tall men present. The surprise gurkha of run is to be seen...More

The restaurant was very busy and it was very noisy- not recommended for a quiet meal out! Service was quick. I have visited here before, food has always been good, but seems to be more expensive this time and coupled with smaller portion sizes than...More
