I have had the tasting menu for dinner, with family, twice in the last 3 years. I have read reviews in newspapers and magazines extolling the virtues of their set lunch. To book for dinner you are lucky if you can book for 3 months...More

If you have time, spare cash, and anchor for a taste of France when anchored in London Le Gavroche will scratch your itch. The ambience is low-key elegance, the services discrete, amiable, and friendly in a formal but non-stiff manner. The menu is epicurean, quite...More

With the Gavroche being on my girlfriend's bucket list for places to eat (irony alert) and me being an upstanding fella, we headed to the Mayfair eatery last night for their 'Menu Exceptional'...or tasting menu if you like. I was quite looking forward to it...More

What a truly incredible and most memorable meal, one that will stay with me forever. Expensive? Yes! Was it worth it? Most definitely! My husband treated me to a birthday meal and we had the tasting menu with wine. We were led on a culinary...More

This was a midweek treat and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was really well prepared as you would expect but they handled our gluten and dairy allergies effortlessly, even the bread was top notch which it so often isn’t! Michel Roux visited every table...More

When you dine at Le Gavroche, you naturally expect the very best of French gastronomy. In the main, the restaurant meets this expectation. The ambience is suitably refined, and for the most part the food is excellent. The omelette Rothschild, however, whilst appearing to be...More

I very much doubt they allow dogs, obviously guide dogs, but this is a luxurious, high end restaurant.

The first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two, and then three Michelin stars, Le Gavroche remains a class apart. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today. The elegance of the menu and the ambience is impeccably tailored, while the discreet service has won its own plaudits.
