Knowledgeable staff, nice ambiance with candles on wine bottles. Good for an evening of wine and cheese.

one of the most interesting restaurants in terms of décor anywhere in London and the food, wine and service is fabulous. Not over priced either for the quality you get. Definitely a place to take people and surprise them.

Before Shoreditch lost (or gained depending on your point of view) its "hipster" tag Les Trois Garcons were here to give the rough edges of Bethnal Green Road and Redchurch Street a bit of elegance. We've been here a few times; the first as a...More

The ambience was excellent. Handbags from the ceiling and taxidermy on the walls. The food original and accomplished. Each dish had a slight Asian twist to the classic French. Well executed and delivered by informed and friendly staff. Great wines by the glass too. It...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is
a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be
it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well
connected transportation links dotting its perimeter,
along with an ever increasing variety of shops,
hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore
this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood.
There's a lingering post-industrial grit about

What kind of London restaurant attracts the likes of Liz Hurley, Donatella Versace and Madonna? A genuine one-off. Les Trois Garcons is a handsomely converted pub, easily identified on Bethnal Green Road by its flaming torches. Inside the restaurant is pure theatre, the opulent dining room decor falling over itself with stuffed animals (mais oui, that is a bulldog with fairy wings), sparkly crystal chandeliers and all sorts of antique idiosyncrasies. Les Trois Garcons is a bit like being inside Salvador Dali's brain. The classic French food, brilliantly twisted with the Australian touch of Michael Chan, Head Chef since 2010 introduce dishes like the sweetbread and crayfish spring roll which is out of this world, the Monkfish and Lap Cheung sausage serve in a lemon-verbena based cassoulet of white and broad beans, and if you prefer meat, the rump of lamb infused in coconut oil. For dessert, the classic vanilla creme brulee is always on the menu. The beautiful staff deserve praise too, under the attentive eyes of the General Manager Fabien Babanini who joined Les Trois Garcons in February 2011, for their warmth and knowledgeable service. Three words for the experience, Quirky, Tasty and Impecable.
