I went for an early Saturday lunch with friends and family and was pleasantly surprised! It didn't look much from the outside, but is characterful on the inside, complete with pub cat. The tapas dishes were really delicious and we all really enjoyed out pizzas.

Came here with friends, grabbed the chorizo pizza and it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy while the sauce and cheese just melts in your mouth. Would come back again! Just wish there were more ingredients on he pizza, feels a bit too little for what you're paying.

Very disappointing visit for Sunday lunch - out first and last. As with some other reviewers we found the staff pretty off-hand. We had checked the menu online and I had decided on the lamb. When my husband tried to order this he was told in a very off-hand way to check the board. He chose the pork for us... More

I visited The Lord Stanley for the first time, to meet a friend for drinks. He recommended it! As soon as I walked in, I liked it. I prefer traditional London Pubs, and The Lord Stanley fits the bill perfectly. There is adequate seating, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Not at all pretentious, like some Pubs have become. The staff... More

The Lord Stanley is a bright, airy pub (even more so in the summer when the garden is in full use), with a good daily food menu and freshly baked pizzas. We had some issues recently around whether things were gluten free or not which caused some concern, but in general it's good quality food in a nice, sociable and... More

This pub isn't just a place to have a drink or food, it is a local institution. I go to the Lord Stanley every Saturday after playing footie with my friends and it's a really cosy place to enjoy great beers, pizzas and tapas (some finger food). Upstairs, they have a great theatre, outside tables and a rear garden. If... More

During our stay in London we went twice to this cozy pub. The staff is super nice and helpful (they gave us advices about the different beers and food) and the food is absolutely spectacular and incredibly tasty! They serve traditional English food with an innovative touch and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very friendly, as you can... More

The bartender was very welcoming. We had the fresh pasta with lamb meatballs and tomato sauce. The dish was delicious, only 6£ for their lunch special. Great value.

Best pub in London. Fact. Food is great. Staff are legends and what more do you want? Reading the reviews below and people complaining about vegan pizzas etc....?!? Really?!? If you want to enjoy a good night with good people and good food then this is the place.

This place is awesome, the food, the drinks, the staff, I have been using this place for 3 or 4 years and although it has changed hands in that time it is always improving. It has a lovely little court yard at the rear and the wine and food is fantastic. No TV's just chew the fat and enjoy the... More
