I've been to Moro several times and it never fails to please. Staff aren't at all sniffy if you don't order wine, and are friendly and helpful without being over-intrusive. The bread is utterly delicious, and I always fancy at least three things on the...More

Nice restaurant in funky location. We had a bottle of Portuguese white wine and had the lamb and halibut mains. Both very good We both had the yogurt, pistachio and pomegranate cake, which was excellent Will definitely visit again

I am a big fan of Exmouth Market and particularly enjoyed the wine, food and overall vibe of Moro on a cold Friday evening. I would definitely recommend it.

We visited here for a birthday dinner a few weeks ago and were very impressed. The place is on the lovely exmouth market and long velvet curtains separate the cosy atmosphere inside from the outside world. We were met by the hostess and were promptly...More

The atmosphere is buzzing, very popular. Quickly seated. Lovely bread and olive oil dip, dense grainy bread, freshly baked, subtle light olive oil, perfect. Tables simple, bare, tight seating. Noisy as the the chatter is loud, neighbours close. First course was fine, scallops were “wonderful”....More

This is an old favourite but I noticed while the food remains excellent the starters are getting smaller and the prices bigger... The waiters are fast (good) but a little rushed (not so good) so if you are looking for a relaxed meal this may...More

wonderful food as ever! I went for lunch yesterday with an ex-colleague, he had the pork belly, lovely tender moist meat with perfect crispy crackling and I had the roast lamb, cooked pink but again very tender. The house red wine, a "Dominio de Requena"...More

Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
