My partner took me here for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed! We started with lambs liver, which was light and tasty. I followed with stuffed squid and again it was tasty but a little over seasoned for my liking. My partner had the lamb...More

I had the best meal that I've eaten in London for a long time. Great Spanish cooking, excellent wine and great company. Moro bang on form! If you've never been, you've never lived!

Been wanting to go to for years. Very buzzy atmosphere. Great service. Began with crab in deep fried puff pastry with harissa. Sounds weird but was Light and not greasy. Harissa was great compliment. Hubby had calves liver with flatbread and yoghurt, on a bed...More

Benn wanting to come here for years, after owning the cook books for a long time. We weren't disappointed - beautiful restaurant, recognisable faces in the kitchen, great service and amazing food / drinks. We ate the wood roasted chicken, and the grilled lamb, each...More

Been coming to Moro for the 20 years it's been running, for many of which it was our absolute favourite restaurant, a truly fantastic place offering beautifully flavoured food, with friendly efficient staff. Sadly though it has definitely gone downhill and is no longer anything...More

I don't understand what is so Spanish about this restaurant. The fish was very good (turbo), the lamb was good, wines very good, desserts a bit unusual (yoghurt cake), but tasty. It was too noisy to my ears, though the general atmosphere rather festive. Service...More

This used to be my favourite London restaurant. The food is still its greatest selling point. And some people think noisy. But i would say vibrant, social, far better than stuffy west end restaurants. I am a local. Have been visiting off and on for...More

I went here for a large birthday party. The staff managed the event really well - the canapés were tasty (chorizo, nuts and padron peppers) and the wines delicious. Service was good with generous portions of interesting food. It's a cool and trendy restaurant in...More

Moro is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is simply delicious. If you haven't been, go. Don't skimp. Indulge. And enjoy.

Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
