Its easy to understand how this place is an institution amongst Jazz lovers, good music, cheap ticket prices, good bar BUT to be frank not enough seats. Go very early if you want a seat or else be prepared to stand all night

It was, for me, the perfect way to experience an evening of jazz. We only drank wine and ate desserts as we had already eaten somewhat beforehand. Maybe next time, we should hold on and eat the full meal. It all looked good and appetising. The service was so good from the waitresses. The two sets of jazz were brilliant... More

Went to this well loved and highly regarded jazz club yesterday. The club is small and encourages an intimate feel. The band we saw were brilliant and the sound was very good. Staff were good and I accepted overpriced drinks were to expected. I do think the no camera policy is a bit harsh as I wanted to take photos... More

A friend and I went to see Ruby Turner's late show at Ronnie's. We didn't eat there but just had drinks and listened to her great soulful music. I love this venue - it's small and intimate and you really get into the vibe of whomever is playing without needing binoculars to see what's going on! There is table service... More

Great Atmosphere, Ambiance.Being here is like being part of History. They do Lunchtime or Evening early/late sessions. Also Upstairs Venue. Downstairs we have had a great time. The entertainment is always Brilliant. The musicians are of a highl standard, Jazz/swing/blues. The Staff are very polite and helpful. The Food is really fantastic and good value for money. I highly recommend... More

Went to Ronnie Scott's to see the 80's big band performance. The lady who greeted us at the entrance was very welcoming and friendly. We didn't dine but our waitress was attentive and approachable. We had a couple of bottles of wine and ended up having a cheese plate and desert too. Music was fantastic and the venue is unique;... More

How lucky were we to visit Ronnie Scott's when booker t was appearing. This place is serious about its music so don't expect to be able to socialise during the show. It is strictly no talking but it works as the full focus is on the act. Food and service was good and show was amazing. Definitely worth booking in... More

I would strongly recommend that you arrive about half hour prior to your table being booked as many guests will be lining down the road. You can if ok with front door chaps if you can drink upstairs and dance if your up for it. You can have food brought to your table but its not all that cheap...entry bittles... More

As per title, a very atmospheric place with great live music but despite being seated third and order taken it took 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive, this is NOT good considering 12.5% service charge is added. Food was decent enough and overall I very much enjoyed

Yo don't go there for a Lunch or Dinner, live music is the thing. Check the monthly programme first, there is something almost every day.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
