This is, according to me, the most refined and elegant Japanese cuisine in London. If you like high quality ingredients, good recipes, very pretty visuals, great service, pretty lighting, go there. if you don't want that, then go to Hakkasan across the street. I said...More

Ultimate Japanese experience! Better than Nobu, Zuma, Roca this chef from Kyoto will take you to paradise... he is also a painter (see the menu) and a sculptor in one word a real artist! Peppe the somelier will suggest you wonderful wine with top value...More

We were invited by a friend for dinner. We had the 9-course tasting-menu with corresponding sake. We really enjoyed every course and the differences in the sakes and how they matched with the food were a real experience.

We had a late reservation a Saturday night and went with another couple to have dinner at Umu. We did not really know anything about the restaurant beforehand - but since it had 2 Michelin stars it must be good. Right? We have been to...More

I read reviews saying that this place is horribly overpriced, not that brilliant, not deserving of the stars, but decided to try it anyway. Sadly I'd have to say that these criticisms are accurate. It wasn't the worst restaurant by any means, but it was...More

Brace for double impact. On your wallet and on your taste buds. Super elegant place, outstanding service (don't remember many sushi places asking about intolerances etc). The cuts are rich, the rice is top in taste and texture, presentation is Michelin level.

The salon and the staff are as elegant as you may get. From the low key entrance to its soft-light salon, you feel you are somewhere special. The ingredients were as fresh as can be and the menu was as imaginative as the strict Japanese...More

It is my first time visiting this restaurant. The location is fine but a bit difficult to find. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. The food is fine but not to the level of my expectation. The price is quite high. The menu I...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed
thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of
London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even
