I loved the setting of this afternoon tea, the room is beautiful and spacious. But still warm and friendly. The service was superb, they couldn't have done any more for us. We went to try it out for my mums 60th birthday next year, she wanted somewhere special to take her girl friends. And this is perfect. All the food... More

As a location it's hard to beat the Winter Garden at the Landmark. It's a glorious open space that oozes class and the feel of bygone years. We had afternoon tea, all of which was delightful. The only downside is the poor service, which was slow and snooty. We weren't made at all welcome and frankly felt told off when... More

This beautiful restaurant is an amazing place to enjoy high tea. Situated in the beautiful Landmark hotel, the beautiful surroundings and attentive staff present a truly elegant experience. We had to choose between the regular high tea and chocolate high tea. We decided to have one of each. The live harp music and regal atmosphere truly made it memorable. I... More

Went with a friend for a birthday dinner. I mentioned during booking that it's a birthday dinner and again reminded this few days before the visit when they sent me a reconfirmation by email. The place is lovely and grand. I loved the food especially the roast beef main course. However, I was disappointed that no effort was made to... More

The hotel is lovely and the setting of the restaurant is stunning. We received a warm and friendly welcome and our original waitress was excellent. We ordered from the set menu and I have to say the food was lovely, though not particularly memorable, it seemed to be missing a little of the wow factor (perhaps we were expecting the... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
