While visiting Harrods, we popped across the street for a quick bite. I will admit, the meal was very good and I would gladly return, but not if we are really hungry, or on a hurry. Might have been because we were starving, but we waited far too long for our food. Luckily the food was so good, we quickly... More

Came here after an afternoon shopping at Harrods. We were greeted by a very friendly and polite gentleman! Reasonably prices we had the Cream Tea for two with Early Grey & Hot Chocolate, it was by far one of the nicest cream tea's we have ever had. The scones were fresh. hot and the so soft! Nothing worse than a... More

This is across from Harrods & a great place for a light snack/ tea/ coffee I was here years ago with my Mom so it was special! I had a delicious lemon tart & mint tea! The tea was actual mint leaves, different but good!

I had read mixed reviews about the afternoon tea so was rather apprehensive when a friend booked it for her birthday treat. However, I was pleasantly surprised, the sandwiches were good and the scones were delicious. The tea included a slice of fruit cake and we were able to choose another "cake" from a mouthwatering selection of tarts, cakes or... More

It was very quiet when we were there around 16:30 but started to fill up as we left. The food was good pub food as we had the fish pie and fish and chips. Good choices of beers on tap.

We found a table easily for an early dinner (or late lunch). The steak salad was refreshing, the lobster(?) ravioli was warming, not too big portion and the prawn pizza was excellent and different. Diego who initially served us was charming and quickly sorted a mix up with our order. The staff are friendly and relaxed but professional too; the... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
