I love Wahaca food; it sticks to its basic formula of tasty snack sized portions of various mexicany 'street' things, whether in or on something else, and there is always a special or two of interest. Flavours can be bold and fiery, rarely bland. Their trademark sauces are in bottles on the tables and should you want to add some... More

Visited with my wife just before the busy spell on a Friday evening. Food was incredible and service was friendly and attentive. Member of staff even noticed that my wife was walking with a stick and opened the ground floor toilet for her. Used the app to settle our bill at the end, so no waiting around. Top stuff.

The place is really nice. The interior is cool and the food was delicious. Waitress that service us was very professional and kind. She was smiling all the time and her timing was perfect. We ordered some share plates to taste as much as possible and honestly everything was really tasty. Prices are more or less at average level as... More

Cooking Thomasina Miers' recipes frequently I was thrilled to go to London to try one of her restaurants. Wahaca Soho immediately strikes you by its size, vibrant colors and quirky details. Our waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming as were all other staff. I accidentally knocked over a set of cutlery and someone was at the table to pick them... More

Three of us visited on a Friday Night in February. The place was not that busy but we were made to wait a while before we were seated. Once seated we noticed staff taking orders from tables that came in after us. We waited a while then fagged down a member of the team for some drinks and to take... More

Great Mexican restaurant to visit with friends and/or family! We loved all the dishes (taco's, burrito's, salad) and good value for money. What we didn't really like was that the staff is really rushed (we got our bill when we were still drinking our cocktail). When there is no table yet, you can have a drink in the bar downstairs.... Food was ok. Value was made a lot better by the fact we ate on Tuesday "taco night", £1 for 3 tacos when purchasing any other dish. Service was pretty average and inattentive (e.g. had to ask numerous times for drinks service) so when the bill came I wasn't very interested in tipping anything above the 12.5% (£9.48) "discretionary" service... Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
