The food is excellent I should say that straight off, and it's fresh, which means it can take a while for you to actually get it after ordering. My step father is vegan and the rest of the family are vegetarian and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, which just felt like edible health (in a good way, you feel... More

The food, whilst tasty, is pretty expensive for the portions you get. We waited over an hour for our food to come with a half-hearted apology. Drinks orders were missed. I lost count with the number of times I had to ask when the food will be coming. There were only 4 tables in the cafe, who seemed to be... More

Gorgeous combos of grains, main and salads. Scrummy flavours with plenty of spice and a welcoming, warm atmosphere. Perfect!

The food, service and atmosphere was exquisite. I would have given them 6 stars had it been an option! I was a proffessional chef for 5 years working in all manner of establishments and never have i had the pleasure to be able to indulge in both culture fine ital cuisine and a good natural atmosphere all at once! Definetly... More

The food was good; fresh and tasty; the salted brownie terrific. Four of us went. Two adults, two children. We all agreed that the service was simply poor. The staff pointed to the fact that the place was busy; but that was no excuse for the lengthy delays. I am afraid that we all agreed we would not go again,... More

Very nice small place. Good atmosphere with nice but not disturbing music. We felt very relaxed from the moment we've entered the place. Staff and the owner were very polite and welcoming. Menu has small, medium and large positions - this gives you a chance to try more than one of the dishes from the menu, which is always a... More

I'm a vegan who is pretty health, fitness and nutrition obsessed, and am always on the lookout for healthy, unprocessed options. The Calablash of Culture serves simple, healthy and tasty food. I had the chickpea dish was warming and delicious, I also enjoyed the cauliflower rice which was fantastic! The real highlight however, was dessert! I had the raw salted... More

A natural cultured setting is present as you walk into the establishment located at the centre of the bustling Sydenham high street. Great music will be playing causing you to have your Shazam app open on standby. Whilst waiting for your food the intellectual collection of books on the shelf and trinkets available to purchase will keep you occupied. The... More
