The Leadenhall market settings seems perfect for this high quality, predominantly fish restaurant. We had the market fish of the day (turbot) which was cooked to perfection and arrived accompanied by a variety of ingredients including a lobster jus – absolutely superb. Service was also...More

We happened upon Chamberlains while exploring the area our first day in London and went in for small plates and drinks. Vegetable tempura, panko shrimp and mini cheeseburgers were great, as was the service. We decided to go again for our last night and were...More

In a great location (Leadenhall Market). The area is very atmospheric. The restaurant was quite noisy, but it was a busy lunchtime. The food was fine, but could have done with more "taste". The service was very professional, but slow, and we felt they were...More

Thank goodness they're open again after the flood! A brand new kitchen and a menu with old favourites and lots of new things to try. Difficult to tear ourselves away from the old favourites though. Dressed Crab and the most amazing Scallops with Pernod tonight....More

We stepped in for a few drinks and were not disappointed. Wide selection of the usual poison ranging from beers, cider and harder liquor. Friend had a fish&chips dish and it tasted good too ;-)

The two of us had a really delicious lunch here. The front of house service is excellent and the decor and ambience, beautiful. We were seated upstairs which arguably is better than downstairs, just because of the decor. Our waiter, though very smart and polite,...More

We had lunch there today and the heating wasn't working upstairs. We literally were freezing, but they didn't think to pre warn us or even move us downstairs in the warmth . When asked when it was being fixed they replied sometime this week. Useless,...More

A client and I visited mid December and were treated to a great culinary experience. The restaurant is really well laid out and it doesn't seem like any table is too close together. It is a joy to be able to look out onto Leadenhall...More

Chamberlain's Restaurant in historic Leadenhall Market has been described as 'perfect fish in the heart of the city'. With our own wholesale fish business Chamberlain and Thelwell, established at Billingsgate in 1947 to supply the best restaurants and hotels in London. Today we serve top quality fish to a number of loyal clients. The restaurant extends over three floors that look out onto the stunning Leadenhall Market with a ground floor restaurant, intimate mezzanine, slightly more formal first floor restaurant, brasserie and basement bar with its original brickwork, high vaulted ceilings and an outside terrace which in warm weather is one of London's favourite places. Chamberlain's is available for private hire and offer complete flexibility- from relaxed intimate dining, formal luncheons, presentations or lively parties with music. The unique layout of the restaurant means we can cater for a small private party of 12 on their own floor to a party of 150 using the whole restaurant.
