Saturday evening dinner. Lovely welcome and had our coats taken to the cloakroom. The restaurant was buzzing and the feeling & ambience of the Middle East was clear to soak up. Food amazing and the choice of Lebanese wines & beers quite sensational. Service very attentive and the introduction of the belly dancers later on was the coup de gras.... More

Took my friend here for dinner on her birthday. We were very impressed by the ambience of the restaurant even though there was absolutely no background music (we went at 6:30pm), but the decor and the lighting was really good. When we had a look at the menu we thought that one of the mains sounds big enough for the... More

Almost invisible, hidden in a tiny court off Wigmore Street, Levant is a regular for us as the quality of the Middle-Eastern food here is very good and consistent. Service, even during the busiest periods on Saturday nights, remains good. Spoilt for choice vegetarian-friendly. The belly dancers are touch and go, with weekdays seeing the odd apprentice having a go.... More

We love Levant. It is like stepping into another world, the lighting and ambience is so atmospheric and the food is scrumptious! It can get lively in the evenings, but this adds to the experience.

Location is difficult to find as the restaurant is tucked away in a side street. Went here for a friends birthday, there were around 11 of us and the bill came to £495. We had the set menu but wasn't to impressed with the starters or desert, however the main course was nice. we had this private booth which nice... More

A large group of us ate here last Tuesday, and the food, ambience and service was excellent. The bellydancers were lovely, the music was great! The only remark I would make is that they should leave the starters on the table and not remove them until they are empty, to serve the mains. Other than that, we enjoyed it very... More

Probably better for a group as the restaurant was rather noisy, with a lively authentic atmosphere, tasty food and good service. The belly dance certainly makes for a memorable and fun night. A good place to take a bunch of friends.

Description
Levant restaurant in London's West End is so much more than a Middle Eastern eaterie. Nestled between bustling Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, it transports you via a unique experience to more exotic lands. The interior of this ultra-atmospheric restaurant and Mezze Lounge are decked out in bold colours with sensuous fabrics and authentic details, softly lit and saturated with the aroma of gently-burning incense. The authentic Lebanese menus from mezze to grilled fish, meat and fresh salads offer a myriad of spices, textures and flavours. Belly dancers perform every evening to add to Levant's sensory treat, and at weekends a resident DJ samples cool beats until the early hours.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
