Great atmosphere here with plenty of space, very helpful and attentive staff and a worry-free gluten and dairy-free menu. This excellent restaurant is how restaurants should be run. Nobody minds paying top prices when the service and food are faultless.

I am dairy free and finding somewhere that serves dairy and gluten free as standard is rare. To find it to such a high quality is even more so. I highly recommend it. The food is great, the atmosphere is great and so is the service.

We booked dinner at Indigo at One Aldwych primarily because the whole restaurant is gluten free and it was a brilliant choice. It's hard to explain what a feeling of freedom a guaranteed GF menu delivers. My partner, who is a Coeliac, can relax totally which is not often the case. Indigo has a stylish piano bar on the ground... More

Was taken here for lunch by husband, as a birthday treat, because being gluten, dairy and soya free (among other things) it's not always easy to find good food - normally we have to opt to eat in chain restaurants. This place catered for me beyond my wildest dreams. All fab tasting, fresh produce of the best kind and imaginative... More

This is a beautiful restaurant in a great location made even more special that it's entire menu is gluten free and there is no compromise! Their warm home made bread was divine! A real treat and reassuring that everything you eat is safe!

We often go here for a pre-theatre meal and this was no exception. We really value the position in theatreland, the quality of the decor, the restaurant position on a mezzanine floor overlooking the bar (our preferred tables are against the balcony rail overlooking the bar, but others prefer tables next to large windows looking out on the theatregoers and... I went here with my family for my 18th Birthday and I couldn't have felt more special- I was greeted happy birthday as soon as I walked through the door and was presented with the most beautiful dessert (after the dessert I chose!) of chocolate brownie/moose with caramel macaroons and "Happy 18th Alice" on the plate in raspberry coulée! The... More

Indigo is on the mezzanine overlooking the bar area of One Aldwych. The noise from the bar wasn't at all intrusive even though we had a table by the railing. My wife is gluten and diary free so it was a treat for her to be able to choose freely from a menu in a restaurant. The bread was very... More

How wonderful to find a gluten-free, dairy-free restaurant while visiting London. It is difficult to find things to eat while traveling, and I used the Find Me Gluten Free to find this restaurant. It was all delicious!! We had the set menu for lunch with three courses for GBP 27. The bread they served was so good, we had seconds.... More

An informal and relaxed restaurant situated on the mezzanine level of London's definitive contemporary hotel, One Aldwych. Overlooking the bustling Lobby Bar, Indigo offers diners a creative and ever changing Modern European menu with attentive yet unobtrusive service. The contemporary menu uses only the freshest ingredients to create a light and healthy dining experience. Start with the pepper crusted yellowfin tuna or the hand-dived Orkney scallops before enjoying one of the main courses including halibut roasted on the bone with wilted little gem and salsa verde or a 35 day aged rib eye steak. Finish with one of our signature desserts including the popular classic creme brulee and bitter chocolate tart with pistachio anglaise. With its Covent Garden location, the restaurant is ideal for a bite to eat before or after the theatre and offers a regularly changing seasonal menu. Two courses £20 | Three courses £25
