Set above the lobby of the One Aldwych hotel this is a relaxed place to eat. The food is free-from menu but is not bland for missing the gluten/lactose. We have always enjoyed our meals here. We choose the restaurant for its service and food. We do not have any food alergies but am aware some people do choose to... More

My partner and I visited just after Christmas, a post festivity break after an extremely busy year. Being in the free from food business ourselves our expectations were high, we'd heard great things of this place....and we weren't disappointed....indeed, we were completely blown away. I won't go into detail about what we ate, I'm sure everybody will choose something a... More

As someone who is GF and DF, Restaurant Indigo is pure bliss for me as the whole menu is catered to my needs. The meal we had was really wonderful and for me to have desert is a special treat. The portion size is perfect and each course is presented beautifully. The drinks are expensive yes but the three course... More

My daughter booked indigo restaurant as it is gluten/lactose free restaurant and my daughter and I are coeliac. The mezinine floor restaurant was beautiful and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The gluten free bread was amazing. The best we have ever had! It was a joy to be assured everything on the menu was gluten free. The food... More

My family and I came here for a pre-theatre supper in late December. The food was beautiful and the surroundings were pleasant but unpretentious. It's good value and a safe bet for a meal in the West End away from the madness of Covent Garden.

Food was good and the fixed price menu offered decent value for money, although with a limited choice. Location, service and atmosphere were all very nice, but the drinks are expensive

Group of 9 for graduation party ... Great fun and the fixed price menu offered value, limited choice but just enough. Food is highly competent if not absolute tops. And service was just right.

Visited here for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tea with my husband for our weddding anniversary. Beautiful hotel and delightful mezzanine floor restaurant. Welcoming friendly staff, London location is superb - central London but a luxurious peaceful haven. Tea was delicious and we're invited to have extra sandwiches (scrumptious) before we moved on to the selection of cakes, pastries... More

On the positive side, the food was excellent and in terms of prices for the fixed menu is more than ok. The personnel is attentive and quite polite. However, you should be aware that the prices for the drinks are abnormally high. I paid 10 pounds for a glass of wine that I wouldn't pay 5 euros if I were... More

Description
An informal and relaxed restaurant situated on the mezzanine level of London's definitive contemporary hotel, One Aldwych. Overlooking the bustling Lobby Bar, Indigo offers diners a creative and ever changing Modern European menu with attentive yet unobtrusive service. The contemporary menu uses only the freshest ingredients to create a light and healthy dining experience. Start with the pepper crusted yellowfin tuna or the hand-dived Orkney scallops before enjoying one of the main courses including halibut roasted on the bone with wilted little gem and salsa verde or a 35 day aged rib eye steak. Finish with one of our signature desserts including the popular classic creme brulee and bitter chocolate tart with pistachio anglaise. With its Covent Garden location, the restaurant is ideal for a bite to eat before or after the theatre and offers a regularly changing seasonal menu. Two courses £20 | Three courses £25
