A really nice friendly cafe that is a great place to get a bite to eat if visiting the Columbia road flower market on a Sunday. I had a calzone with vegan mozzarella which was the best pizza I've had in a long time. Well worth a look.

The Stringray Globe is a local favourite. It has a great selection of pasta and pizza and some special dishes on the menu of the day. The staff are excellent and very friendly. It gets very busy on some nights. It also offers takeaways.
I visit this places regularly to take my family out as we are local, and since visiting a few years ago, I've seen a huge improvement in the service. The pizza is great, has always been great and affordable, so all round a lovely place to visit with the family.
This used to be the best pizza restaurant in east London with huge thin crusted pizzas cooked to perfection but when we visited recently we found the pizzas to be tiny and made from a 'new improved dough'. It wasn't as nice and was so small. A sad sign of the times.
