Great and cheap Chinese food, a bit small inside seating area, but it's all same for Chinese restaurant in London. Very cheap prices, but nice value for money. Portions are normal size. Try lychee juice — it's delicious.

I regularly go to the Albert Hall once or twice a year and always make a point of visiting this restaurant for a fast delicious Chinese meal. The food is very reasonably priced, particularly for Kensington, and drinks are fairly limited, but this all adds to the ambience of the place. It is more like a cafe/diner than a restaurant... Exactly the kind of place London tends to lack. Somewhere cheap and easy with every possible Chinese dish you could like

Walking by and decided to pop in. Stools screwed to the floor and everything compact. Food was very tasty and arrived promptly. Just like Soho twenty years ago. Definitely would return and cannot see why we should not join the army of regulars. Looked like cash only, which suited us as the bill for two was great value. A real... More

My daughter fancied Chinese and as we are staying in Kensington we went to this restaurant. As the previous reviews say the food is excellent, the service is fast and efficient. The decor is a tad tired but the food was wholesome. The menu is large enough and has many favourites. If you fancy Chinese, are in Kensington and fancy... More

I eat here every time I'm around Kensington. Its one of my little London secrets! Look, the restaurant looks a bit grubby and is based on takeaway rather than restaurant dining. It's cash only so go prepared, ...... but the food!!!!... The food is simply amazing and is at a great price too. I love to head in here, sit... More

I've been several times both for take away's and eat in, up to now I've never been disappointed. The portions are satisfactory, the staff are always friendly and polite and the price is reasonable. It's not gourmet dinning but it's definitely enjoyable.

We have been enjoying lunch at Stick & Bowl for years... it is the staple cheap and cheerful Chinese for Kensington locals. The ramen soups are particularly good and the kitchen can easily make it without msg upon request. Our other favorites include BBQ pork with plain rice and baked fried chicken... the fried seaweed is good albeit a bit... More

It has gone down hill big time, the menu has changed and the food is simple disgusting and taste of nothing like the original owners cooking also prices here are very pricey for very average food.
