I visited this place for the first time with a couple of friends. I had mushrooms on brioche which was lovely. They also have different jars of preserves and spreads on the table - the hazelnut spread is particularly lush. The short wait for table was definitely worth it as as the quality of the food was amazing.

I had a avocado toast with scrambled egg, a fruit salad and a massive Latte and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and and I got served quickly. Highly recommend it for a relaxed weekends breakfast.

Though the menu is limited there is enough choice to be a regular customer. The soups are nutrious and tasty, and are a little unusual. The open sandwiches are excellent and offer healthy, fresh ingredients. The service is fast and friendly. Don't expect to go there for a quiet tete a tête-à-tête as the restaurant is buzzy and you may... More

Popped in for breakfast and was spoilt for choice on the menu. I had baked eggs and asked the waiter whether the yolk would come out soft or hard didn't really get an answer but thought I'll just go with it and very much enjoyed. Lovely selection of breads available. Potion size was fair for the ££. Definitely will return.

After ordering a coffee and waiting 20 min I walked out - nice staff but service at a snails pace. Made worse by the fact that the staff are standing around drinking coffee !

I really don't like drinking hot tea or coffee from pottery cups with no handles. I know it's their style, but because of that, I prefer to go where I can drink from a proper china cup with a saucer the old fashioned way! The food and service is good.

Not that familiar with this chain or concept but it definitely works. Just popped in for a big bowl of coffee and a cake. We were seated in the main communal table. Really nice coffee service and cake. Definitely return. The food looked amazing

I visited the Marylebone branch today. I wish I had not. The staff are just chaotic. The queue to sit inside was very long so I asked if I could sit outside for a much needed sit down. I ordered a cappuccino and a pastry, and was told to go and sit down. Someone came out with a serviette and... More

The breads in Le Pain Quotidien really are fantastic and the croissants are tasty. Great soup too. The location on Marylebone High Street is great and we met a friend with her baby. It's not a huge place but everyone was very accommodating of the pram. Staff are friendly and service was quick. Lovely for lunch and I'll go back... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
