Pizza Express always can be relied upon. You know what you will get, good food, decent prices, good service. Cant fault this meal, restaurant was quite empty so no issue with service or speed of service. Food tasty and consistent whenever coming here. Will be back again soon no doubt.

Can always rely on Pizza express and this is a great location sometimes a little bit quieter than the south bank restaurants. It is big and can be noisy but you always know what you're getting at Pizza Express. Great for vouchers and deals too.

We visited here in the Feb halve term holiday after visiting London Dungeon ideal five minute walk from attractions on Embankment. I would highly recommend booking a table easy on line this was our second visit both times a big wait if you have not booked. This is though why I have not rated five star , the poor lady... More

you know what you get with Pizza Express, and with small children this can be important. The staff are friendly and we didn't feel under pressure to give up the table allowing the children to complete at their pace. The location is vey convenient - we came from the London Eye

We regularly eat here prior to visiting the Royal Festival Hall as it is very convenient for that attraction. As ever, and for that reason, the place is always exceedingly busy and noisy, but there is always a good atmosphere to go with that. We had the set menus; the dough balls were fine as usual (maybe a bit more... More

Its a pizza express, so prett standard food options, did find it amusing that the dough balls sharing platter costs more than buying two dough ball portions (maybe its the extra dip). The service was good but the waiter was very keen, almost trying to hard i felt.

Visited early evening with the family following a day in town. Warm reception, polite staff and usual reliable food from this pizza/pasta chain.

A huge PE that filled up whilst we were there. Close to the south bank and its school half term. Also a huge number of buggys in the entrance. The waiting staff were fine but my wife's pizza was stone cold and my pizza delayed 'by a few minutes'. Not the standard we expect. Staff were dashing round trying to... More

I had a nice pizza, atmosphere quite busy, a lot of loud crowd with children( maybe it was just bad timing for me), staff really nice, always smiling and ready to help.

This is a very convenient place to eat for those going to South Bank venues: it is directly at the back of the Royal Festival Hall. It is a very large branch of Pizza Express and can be busy; booking is advised - easy online. The service is invariably excellent: the staff are hard-working and charming. The food is reliable,... Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
