I always try to eat here when I visit Tate Britain as it is a fairly short walk away. The food is excellent, and brilliant value. This time I had a beetroot burger served with a delicious salad. Desert was a pear and cardamon crumble. Booking is essential as it was packed. You can take your own wine and ask... More

Very busy place, service is fine and nice, lovely atmosphere and food is yummy. I had soup and vegan kofte. They change menu everyday, it's a good sign because that may means they use only fresh products. Will come again

This is a lovely, friendly, busy restaurant with very reasonable prices and a busy vibe. The clientele looked a mixture of ages with younger people the majority. My party varied in how much they loved their food. The Coconut, spicy soup was fantastic, and I loved my burrito, but a couple in our party thought their food was a little cold.... More

It was like a miracle! I had tried to book a table the day before, as I was bringing a family group of 7 to London, 6 of them vegetarians. I'm new to this and finding it difficult to source vegetarian restaurants. Then I'd changed my mind as there was a nearer chain restaurant where I thought I might not... More

It was my first visit there. The cafe is very down to earth and simple. The day I went there were 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 puddings - so a very compact menu. It's difficult to review this place as they have a different chef every day and I do want to be fair. The day we went... More

I stopped here for lunch the other week with a colleague and I was pleasantly surprised with the service and of course, the food! There was a great choice for vegans the although I didn't have one, the puddings looked very tempting! I had a bean stew with rice and salad for a mere £5.50. It was a lovely plate... More

Not only was the food barely edible but the staff tried to overcharge us an "entry fare" without telling us in advance. Out of 15 people there, 11 had a main and the others only had dessert. The owner wanted to make them pay the price of a main even though they didn't have it. I do not recommend this... More

At the outset, let me tell you that I am a confirmed carnivore. So, to eat in a purely vegetatrian restaurant is not a prospect that I relish. It was with some considerable trepidation that I entered the Bonnington Café. The place has been tastefully designed to look like a hippy establishment from the late 1960s. I liked it. The... More

a wonderful vegetarian cafe that changes it's chef daily. you can go online to see who will be cooking and text the chef to make a reservation. the food was absolutely lovely and very reasonably priced. we had fresh watermelon juices, curries, and veggie bowls. the decor is homely and outside seating out the back. would definitely go again.

Came here for dinner for two. Got there around 8 and there were around 5 tables available in the room. After getting in and no one talking to me I asked one of the servers if she had a table for two. She immediately asked me without a good evening or anything " did you book?" I said no because... More
