Would I wait again for another 90 minutes? Possibly no. But I would, for 45 minutes. You just have to manage your time. The food is as good as it gets. Out of a dozen dishes we had, only one or two were average. The...More

A great fun place to eat especially sitting at the counter watching the food being prepared and talking to the cheerful helpful staff. Order a few and then some more and then some more!! Great food produced as you watch.

Excellent food. Fantastic atmosphere. Simply one of my favourite restaurants in the entire world. If I could afford to eat here once a week I would!

Had a long wait while we queued outside, then had to que inside too. Some of the dishes were really good, but others were not to my liking. Dont think I will be making a return visit.

Service was friendly but a little all over the place; our drinks came after our third dish. The octopus looked great but was a let down. Other dishes were also average. The best dish we had was the stuffed courgette flower (which was delicious). Overall...More

Stopped by at about 10.30pm after a show. Shown to a table within minutes of arriving by a lovely waiter. Had a fantastic tapas style meal consisting of octopus and capers, mussels, deep fried baby calamari and quail. Quail was out of this world. Waiter...More

This is a new brighter and swankier version of the original that used to be further down the street. However everything was just as good except for the roasted chillies which were a little soggy. The best tapas in London.

Some of the food we ordered was great, in particular the croquetas and the wine but overall it is not worth the long wait or the high prices. The patatas bravas were really bland and the octopus, if properly a la española, should have come...More

They will do - but from my experience you can't ever reserve tables, so if busy which it normally is you would have to either sit apart, or potentially wait in a queue quite a while until enough seats in a row become... More

Dear Seamus1973, Thank you for your question. I'm afraid we don't have high chairs at our restaurants, we just have our high stools. Thanks, Connie Cooper (PR & Marketing)

Description
Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.
