I have visited this steak house several times over the past 2 years and usually call in to a London visit on the way back to North Wales. I usually have the rib-eye. On the first visit, the steak was excellent - beautiful flavour and like cutting through butter. Each time I go I have the same but I must... More

Amazing food and even better service. Our steak was perfect and the prices quite reasonable. The food was on our table really quick and our waiter was amazing. Ask for Ester or Fato, they are the best! I will definitely recommend the place.

My buddy and I both had the filet and garlic mushrooms. Everything was great and our waitress Dilek was very kind and helpful with area recommendations for nightlife. The service was great and the restaurant has runners to assist in food delivery which was nice and efficient. I'm not sure if it's a London thing (we're from Houston, TX USA)... More

On arrival we were seated straight away, before we could even open the menu the waiter was stood next to us pen and pad in hand. We ordered a bottle of wine, and incorrect wine was served costing more than what we ordered. My wife's lamb shank was smothered in sauce so much that she could not taste the lamb.... More

Had two sets of half rack of ribs and although these were quite tasty and the staff were nice I spent plenty of time in the bathroom that night! My partner who had the same also felt sick so it wasn't just me. Didn't try the steak so I can't say how good it is but if your ribs aren't... More

I go with my boy, and staff named Jennifer, has taken care my boy as well as good service. He is quite happy, and we enjoy dinner so much. Thanks, Jennifer! Steak price is not expensive, but a lot of volume for Asian people.

Visited Angus Steakhouse on April 15th for late lunch. My husband had the T Bone and I had rib eye. Best meal we have had since coming to London and best steak we have had in a long time. Every thing about our visit was wonderful. Our waiter Faruk was exceptional. He was knowledge, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too... More

Everyone was so nice and kind, the food was also amazing. We had to wait a bit longer than usual because it was very busy. We didn't mind this though because of our waiter, Maryk. He was smiling all the time and he made our time here so much better. Thank you.

The myth that you can get anything you want if you know where to go may not be a myth after all. After several delays returning to London from Stansted the Angus Steakhouse was a late night food oasis when the choices were bleak at 00:30am! Alex, our waiter was so kind. He welcomed us and allllll of our luggage... More

Description
Angus Steakhouse is the original chain of steak restaurants based in central London's West End and has been serving both Londoners and visitors alike for over half a century. Indeed, today, you will still find many Angus Steakhouses in the centre of London, serving delicious food to all who walk through its doors. Angus Steakhouse has a long and proud heritage which stretches back to the 1960s when it could often be found in the Good Food Guide. Founded by Sir Reginald Eastwood, Angus Steakhouse aimed to deliver tender, quality steak and friendly, attentive service right from the start. And today, fifty years on, those values remain the same. With over 50 years of heritage serving premium quality steak, each Angus Steakhouse also offers a traditional menu including fish, chicken and a variety of vegetarian sides. And at Angus, we are committed to providing high quality food to London and its visitors for years to come. After 50 years, Angus Steakhouse has become a landmark in its own right. And we're still where it all began, set in the heart of London and offering excellent food. Angus Steakhouse restaurants are the perfect place for dining in the West End.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
