Reviewed yesterday NEW

Had 2 dinner here on recent visit to London, have to queue for about 15 min to get a table. The food is delicious, must try the BBQ duck, it is excellent, will go back again if in London next time.

A typical Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown, very busy, authentic Chinese food (a must is the barbecued duck.

Visited with my partner, having always walked past the restaurant saying the crispy ducks hanging in the window display looked amazing. We ordered three items off the menu, a half crispy duck which is beautifully chopped and shredded at the table by the waitress, followed by deep fried shrimp and a pork 3 way dish. The only 2 small irks... More

Crispy duck starter is excellent and food overall pretty good. Service is a bit haphazard / impersonal and restaurant could do with a bit of a makeover but overall not bad value for money.

We were in our last night in London and didn't want to go back to Wong Kei. So we walked about, looked at the menu displayed and decided to try this eatery. Being at the the edge of Chinatown there was a short queue and within 10minutes we were led to a table. After 3-weeks in Scotland and London we... More

Visited on a Friday night. 1. Waiter did not seem to have a clue what was going on. Had to keep repeating order. 2. Food arrived and it was cold - the rather pricey whole Cantonese duck. 3. Dish missing- waiter clearly didn't get that part. 4. Sent food back- no apology. 5. Food even when hot was pretty disgusting,... More

We always try a Chinese restaurant in big international cities. Queue outside and lot of apparently locals brought us here. We were not disappointed, it is not the best china in the world, but the 6pcs menu was very good. Especially the beef was excellent.

I have been here every time i visit london. The duck is very good but service is always terrible. Never expect smile from any stuff here. After eating, i was going to pay the bill by card. Unfortunately, i gave wrong card which has not enough money on it so the payment was declined. What he did to me was... More

Travel many times to London. Four Season Chines resto in China town i believe has one of the best roast duck in London. Prepare for long que or line...but its worth it. Roast Duck on rice...boneless with Chili Oil...also another branch in Bayswater. Some people argue one is better than the other. Close call...

Competitor to Gold Mine; the Chinatown branch is better than the one in Bayswater. The duck definitely cannot match Gold Mine but the other dishes are excellent; in particular the Fried fish and tofu in claypot.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
