Had an enjoyable meal. Good service and excellent food. Aromatic duck with pancakes was a treat and enjoyed by the whole family.

Bit of a mixed meal. Very busy, service good. Highs were the starters of soft shell crab, spring rolls and lamb ribs. Mains less successful, with the fried rice containing a lot of ham. Why ? Prawn and chicken dishes were bland and lacking flavour. Bill was £80 with two beers and a very unusual bottle of wine

The bar staff were truly moronic and had absolutely no idea as to how to deal with orders. Staff was rude and extremely high-browed. The food was not much better than a local take away. This was a robbery. Stay away from this place.

I've visited Kam Fung for nearly 20 years and not once have I been left disappointed. It's understated and unimposing, a functional restaurant with extremely efficienct staff and a menu to beat any of the tourist restaurants in China town. It's also very good value for money, especially the set meals which are huge. Our waitress advised us not to... More

Having grown up in and around chinese restaurants, this place reminded me of my childhood. Terrible decor, mismatched furniture, typically abrupt Cantonese middle aged waitresses but I loved it. I was given the "lai tong" which is like the soup of the day (carrots and lotus root in a stock) when I came in and seated at the back. It... More

I love eating here! Great food and always looked after week with the great but no frills service. The food is spot on. Tasty and fresh. If you are staying in the premier inn Holborn you should eat here!

We went there with 8 friends for dinner. Having just come back from Singapore and HK a few days before going to Kam Fung I was skeptical on how good it would be. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. A few vegetarians in the group were also impressed with the food and range on the menu.... More

This restaurant is a family tradition, I have lost count of the amount of times we have eaten here, it is always fantastic - the portions are massive and taste so good it has spoilt all other chinese restaurants for us.... superb quality and do great "off menu" choices and will happily make things spicier. Prawns are the best have... More

Called here for a quick lunch one day after seeing good reviews on trip advisor. I ordered the beef in black bean sauce, and my boyfriend got the chicken curry. The food came out so quick! My food was ok, iv had better. My boyfriends chicken curry was not like any iv ever had in a chinese, seemed to be... More

Came with a group on a weekend and was accommodated well on the phone and the table was waiting for us on time. The food was great (perhaps a little MSGish..) but the staff good and it did what it said on the tin! Helpings were enormous.
