A small and cosy restaurant. All employees seemed to be French which made a lot for the atmosphere. We arrived late (you have to book a table here) because of booking late.It was a bit noisy by that time and the waiter gave us a new table in a more quiet room. My daughter and I had a three course... More

this is a fantastic restaurant in Mayfair, three blocks from the Green Park tube station. We had a party of 8 and everyone greatly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We found the food delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Most of the patrons appeared to be local rather than tourists, which is always a good... More

I had a fantastic time at the Boudin Blanc! The seared tuna steak was delicious, the risotto went down a treat. A bottle of Sauvignon Blanc complemented our lovely dinner at this beautiful French restaurant. Excellent service, food adequately priced.

I have been visiting Le Boudin Blanc for the past couple of years and it has been constantly great. Its located in a lovely part of Mayfair in an area called Shepherds Market, which I would also suggest to wonder around after you have finished your meal.

Mussels are in season = not fresh, small bits, disgusting. All 4 dover sole = ALL not fresh, ALL disgusting and inedible. Will never go back. None of us have ever tasted such disgusting grilled dover sole. Flesh was thicker than usual, slimy and no taste at all.

This is one of my absolute favourite restaurants in the West End. Been coming for many years most recently on wed 16th. A real French restaurant in London, having lived in Paris for 2 years better than most there. Food is high end Brasserie style. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

My French friends regard Le Boudin Blanc as their favourite local restaurant. So who am I to say otherwise? Set in Shepherd's Market, its easy to get to from Green Park tube station. Reservations are required. Daily specials are top drawer. Not the most inexpensive place for lunch but the food is very good. Can get noisy depending on where... More

A colleague and I enjoyed a simply sensational lunch here. Attention was second to none, with all waitresses having a great knowledge of both the menu and the wine list. We enjoyed a three course meal with some of the best escargot I've ever had, first rate filet steak, and incredible wine. It is not for those on a budget,... More

This lovely French restaurant is tucked away of the main Piccadilly drag. It is Brasserie style in a quirky old building on 3 floors. As would be expected from an an old building, its all a bit wonky under foot and there is very little circulating space. A note of warning if you have a physical disability that makes it... More

We were in Paris a month or so before coming to this restaurant. This beat all the Parisian restaurants we went to! Friends of ours invited us to celebrate our wedding. Absolutely beautiful. Great interior and food was superb (lamb was lovely, as was onion soup and dessert). Looking forward to returning!!!

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
