I first went to Shampers in 1989, and then many many times over the next 20 years or so, before moving out of London. I was delighted to find that it is still holding its own after all these years, delivering quality bistro food and...More

“Look, a winebar!”. I was glad to finally find a place where I could have a nice glas of wine. But the dissapointment was big. If you write “Wine Bar” you need to maintain a certain standard of wines. Serving a bad Malbec for the...More

This is certainly my favourite restaurant in London. The two owners are charming and the staff care. The food is always good.

They have oysters! And an amazing selection of wine (which is very reasonably priced)! And, surprisingly, always space for a small company! And it is right in the centre of London. A hidden gem.

A superb little bistro offering excellent wines, at reasonable prices. The food is fresh, tasty, and imaginatively presented. The service is responsive, friendly, yet unobtrusive. The atmosphere is convivial, with a buzz of good-natured discussions and lively conversations
