Some food bloggers must write about here as they are just excellent. I love goin there wit mates all the times for desi vibes. Right from the starters... More

An Indian restaurant is always nice food, although as for the amount of chicken vs. rice in the Chicken Biryani the chicken was a bit in the disadvantage. Still a nice dish. Good place to eat alone. Lively music. Don't try the Cortese 2015 white wine, it's not nice. Very nice not to charge it after I sent it back.... More

I went to Imli Street on Tues 20 Dec 2016. As soon as we walked in, we were told very rudely that we had to clear the table by 8pm. We sat down and immediately a waiter came and asked to take our order. Give us a minute please. He was unfriendly, unsmiling and very off key. We ordered our... More

I absolutely love this place. Drinks are great, but the food is absolutely perfect and the peshwari naan is by far the best in London.

We stoped in this restaurant with friends this week during a shopping excursion. We arrived without reservation and were very quickly seated despite restaurant being crowded. We ordered some starters and a few main courses, the waiter was very efficient and did bring our food quite quickly. The only thing a bit odd was that the whole order (starters and... More

We visited Imli Street with a little trepidation as this was our first experience of the restaurant despite being aware of its connections to the Tamarind group. We arrived early to take advantage of the set menu. The restaurant decor is a little odd (all brickwork and rough finish) but its a perfectly pleasant place to eat. When seated we... More

We went early on a Sunday and arrived at a near-empty restaurant. We were offered a small table and when I asked for a larger one we were told it was for four people. I pointed out that the place was empty. Not a good start. We placed the order and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious. Having finished... More

We came across across this Restaurant in Soho, it was very busy but managed to get a table. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant. I had the Chicken Tika Masala which was excellent. It's not the cheapest but is worth a visit.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
