We went early on a Sunday and arrived at a near-empty restaurant. We were offered a small table and when I asked for a larger one we were told it was for four people. I pointed out that the place was empty. Not a good start. We placed the order and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious. Having finished... More

We came across across this Restaurant in Soho, it was very busy but managed to get a table. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant. I had the Chicken Tika Masala which was excellent. It's not the cheapest but is worth a visit.

It's a really good Indian restaurant, they serve small portions like Indian tapas, so you can try out different things and it is soooo good! The place was packed but the service was really nice! And the food: AMAZING. Love it!

The service is one of the poorest I have ever experienced! THE SERVICE (before ordering): When you arrive, you're given the general menu which, coincidentally, does not include the £11,50 Thali Meal (potato, lentils, raita, rice & poppadum), seen on the website. When asking the unconcerned waitress the Thali Meal menu, she goes to the waiter who comes back with... More

Not stodgy like most Indian options, not sure what region it's from but it's delicious. Had starters, then ordered more as they were so nice. Mains were not overly large but not needed after all those starters! Also not a huge choice but guess that's why they get it so right. My 2nd visit & will go again for sure.

We had planned to go to Dishoom but couldn't get in, so we ended up here and it was a great discovery! The food was really tasty and perfectly spiced. Subz Lababdar very much recommended for the vegetarians out there. Service wasn't as friendly as it could have been, but in general the atmosphere was very good.

I went out for dinner with some old university mates here and we left the restaurant booking too late to get one of the Dishooms or Masala Zone. So the good - Imli street has a great central london location, nice decor/atmosphere and the drinks are good. The food on the whole is really average and quite mild. I'm pretty... More

Food and environment is good. However the manager is too commercial. The moment I sit down, I was told that, I have to return the table in one hour even I am the first customer and the only one at that moment (5pm!). When I return the table at 5:30pm, only two tables are occupied ( out of 60 tables... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
