Delicious meal in this gem of a "traditional" London pub. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere. Good to see some interesting dishes on the menu. Trout was served on barley and cucumber which worked well and the duck presented was exceptional. Well done...More

The interior environment and beer were the top features. The food was good, too. We arrived for dinner early on a weekday. Lots of room. It's not on the main road. Once within 100 yards, I asked for directions.More

Having just moved to Hampstead we popped into the pub on a Sunday afternoon, it was busy and had a great atmophere. We didn't eat but had a few drinks,very friendly staff.

After being recommended the holly bush we decided to drop by, excellent british pub with good drink selection, food was delicious, and service great. Will be back again.
