Fortnum and Mason is my favourite department store in London and this is a little gem :) Really gorgeous decor and lovely food - especially love the ice cream! 🍧 A bit pricey but worth it :)

We went as a treat. The chocolosso was yum and the mango sorbet is delicious. Staff are really friendly and the setting is fun. We really enjoyed it but felt £15 total Was a little steep. Go for a treat.

Just visited for sorbet. We were happily shown a table and offered the menu. One portion of mango and one raspberry. Nice glass dish and good portions. Service great. Nice stop for something quick.

Went for my 30th birthday on Saturday just gone. Lovely experience. Food was delicious, I had the welsh rarebit which was very tasty! The scones and cake selection were great and loved them all. What made the experience was the customer service, we were looked after by a Spanish waiter apologies I can't remember his name but he really looked... More

We were shopping in the wonderful Fortnum & Mason and came across the Parlour which was essentially a Ice Cream parlour and a tea shop in one.Its all very nicely done and the tea and ice cream were exceptionally tasty. £4.00 per scoop and me and my son has 2 each and 2 pots of tea all for a total... We had about a 30 minute waitr to be seated BUT this was the second Sunday prior to Christmas! Everything we had tasted gorgeous. The Gin and Tonic Sorbet was to die for. Of course it's not a cheap establishment we expected that £10 a portion, but on top there's a whopping 20 percent service charge added automatically. (optional but... More

This seemed a great place to visit for half term treat. On the board outside the entrance it states a children's menu/options available. When we asked for this, the waiter looked blank! We asked again and we're not offered a menu, but we're simply told we could get a cheese toastie with tomato or ham!!!!! This is not a children's... More

Peaceful and quiet when we visited on a Monday morning just for coffees which were delicious and served with a tiny ice-cream. Delightful surroundings and no complaints about the service. Expensive but worth it for a treat.

A 'London institution' that we went to as a treat. It was Very nice, but not really anything to write home about and very expensive for what was on offer. Don't think we would go again unless we win the lottery!

Used to love taking the children and adult friends and family for ice cream. Well where has all the "sundaes" gone. The Fountain gone the re-launched Parlour had done it justice with a great range of sundaes. Limited boring flavours and sundae choices, far better Ice cream Parlours around. Really lacks imagination and now very overpriced.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
