Very reasonably priced for London and a great little find for good tapas with friendly staff but we did go midday on a Saturday when the restaurant isn't busy. Could've done with some atmospheric music

This was the first time I've ever been to a tapas restaurant so I didn't really know what to expect. The first thing I noticed was that the servers didn't speak English all that well, but they were good enough that it didn't cause any problems. They were also pretty friendly, especially compared to some of the other places we... More

My wife and I had a pre theatre bottle of wine and a few plates of tapas on Monday evening in this little bar restaurant in the West End. The table was ok, the service was friendly and we didn't have to wait for the food. This is not a gourmet tapas bar - you should expect average quality, not... More

A nice little tapas restaurant in convenient location for a quick meal on Good Friday. Didn't want too much as was getting late so ordered 5 tapas and a bottle of wine for the two of us- was around £50 so more than reasonable. Meatballs and tortilla were good and all the other tapas decent sized too - surprised by... More

This looks like a pleasant tapas restaurant from the street. How wrong could we be. Ordered prawns in fill pastry - I'd say they were frozen ones, bizarrely they came with potatas bravas, so annoyed that when we ordered patatas bravas waitress did not say there were already some coming so we ended up leaving a dish and more as... We had a relaxed and tasty meal before a theatre visit. We had the set menu which was a good deal. The staff were attentive without being overbearing.

Another pre-theatre visit here. They do a three course pre-theatre meal for less than £12, which we didn't have but someone on the next table did and they were good portions. We went for the tapas which was really good. Great food and really tasty. Proper Spanish food.

Found this great restaurant tucked away near the Harold Pinter theatre recently. It was really busy but we were lucky to get the last table. The menu is tapas plus large plates. They have a £11.99 set menu with loads of choice. We picked this and were really pleased with our food. Great wine too, good price. The service was... More

Visited after the theatre with a party of eight. Seated downstairs where most tables were occupied. The food was good with the usual range of tapas dishes. Service was slow (two other tables complained) and our waitress was not particularly friendly. Shame as we would have tried again.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
