Took the family here pre-theatre. Had a table booked thankfully as it was really busy. Service was prompt. All the food was really tasty and was really good value for a family meal in London.

Visited with my husband on a very busy Wednesday evening (!). Service was excellent, given ample time to decide on food whilst sipping our drinks. Food was lovely, hot and fresh and altered slightly due to a fussy husband! My only complaint was that despite asking for a lemonade I got a soda water, I sent it back and got... More

The service and all was fine. The cocktails were good too. But the food was atrocious. I am never returning. There was a group of 8 of us and we each all hated our meals. My chicken burrito tasted like vomit, and looked like dog food. I had a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. The plantain was also terrible.... More

We were having a short break in London, sold on the South Bank area and pleased to see a as Iguanas alongside the Festival Hall. No problem getting a table for two on a Saturday lunchtime although they were very busy. Great staff, always a good menu and good quality of tasty food, no complaints

Booked for a late Saturday lunch. Table was ready and waiting and service was good without making us feel rushed. Tapas are excellent. Kids puddings a bit limited. Fun place.

Visited today for lunch, 2 for 1 cocktails were yummy, food was average. We had nachos which were nice, then rump steak with fries which wasn't very hot when brought out but neither was any of the meals we had.

Had not tried Mexican before, but vegan friend keen to try. Welcoming staff, menu explained, drinks quickly served, and food when it came piping hot. Good choice, plenty of flavour, plenty to eat. Will definitely call again

At Las Iguanas, food is our passion. We rise at the crack of dawn to unload boxes of top-quality, fresh British produce. Then our chefs add carefully sourced ingredients from around the world, to conjure delicious, authentic South American food, made with passion, love and lots of Latin magic. We are the only restaurant to produce Cachaca from our own sugar cane plantation near Rio and we use it to make the best Caipirinhas this side of the Atlantic. Alongside our Caipirinhas we offer a full range of cocktails, non-alcoholic coolers, minerals & juices, beers, cider and wines. Join us for Happy Hour 12pm to 7pm and 10pm-late daily, and all day Sunday to Wednesday for a range of 2 for 1 offers on our signature cocktails and coolers. At Las Iguanas we hope you'll try new things, discover delights and favourites along the way, but mostly enjoy the unique taste of Latin American hospitality.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
