Portion size is very small for the price that one pays. Food is also spicy. Quick service and quite cosy though.

On our last afternoon in the city, we stopped in at the start of lunch. Service was attentive and timely. The food was amazing! If we lived closer, this would be a new weekly favorite. The spice and heat were just enough. The flavors we...More

Really nice restaurant, also open for lunch, too. Parents came from birmingham and i chose this from TA. Good choice, would recommend, the goan chicken is great.

In Simply Indian emphasis is on the taste unlike in many other Indian restaurants which make food so hot to cover luck of elegant flavor Indian spices can bring. Delicate but sophisticated spicing makes this food so delicious that will bring you back any time...More

When you think of a greasy Indian, this is not it. The foods amazing and tasteful. Will be coming again without fail.

So you won't find a silly long list of curries with tonnes of variations. Instead you get a modern clean looking menu and it delivers. Had the spicy chops which had quite a nice level of heat and the chicken curry which was packed with...More

We are regulars at Simply Indian, and big fans. So we were surprised when a radically new menu was introduced a few months ago – the previous longstanding one being superb. But ... the new menu is a triumph. It is genuine Keralan cooking at...More

I got to Simply Indian fairly often, and often take friends from other places/parts of town there, and recommend it to them. It's small - 7 or 8 tables maximum - so worth calling ahead and booking. We often go to the pub on the...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some

browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

An intimate South Indian restaurant very close to Borough market in #London, where you can BYO wine and beer and not pay any corkage fee. Freshly sourced produce delivered daily. A delivery service s also available.Recently rated as top 3 Indian Restaurant in Lambeth by ThreeBestRated UK. Very busy little retaurant so always advisable to book in advance. Party menu also available for celebration bookings.
