We visit this restaurant every 2-3 month. We live locally and after our trip to Sicily in 2015 we were delighted to discover Al Forno in the neighbourhood. We tried several dishes from the menu that were mostly delicious and of decent size, but we have to say their (large) pizza, paired with their house red wine never disappoints. For... More

A very atmospheric place. The staff are wonderful you couldn't ask for better service or nicer people. The food was delicious and the entertainment was brilliant you can have Karaoke or just tell them your favourite music and dance too. They know how to make you feel special on your birthday. Have been and will be celebrating many more family... More

We visit Al Forno about once a month. It's well priced, convenient and the food is reliable. Menu is huge, as is the pizza!! Staff is pretty friendly and always offer a limoncello on the house - take it, it's delicious! Personal favourites are the pizzas, the veal funghi and the lasagne.

Good Italian food. Tables slightly cramped but very atmospheric. Lots of children and families. Not for a quiet meal.

The most child friendly local Italian Restaurant. Our daughter loves it here. They make it special on your birthday with candles and singing. Kids are invited to play around with a bit of dough with the chef and turn it into a pizza that they eat - fantastic! The pizzas are great to share, large and tasty with fresh ingredients.... More

We went to Al Forno to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. We used to go more regularly, when we lived nearer, and we're looking forward to returning. We were greeted warmly and perished the extensive Italian menu. Our group had sausage pasta, calzones, veal, stuffed pasta of the day and a couple of starters. Everything was tasty and fresh... Ordered a Deliveroo at 8pm and at 8:50pm it was rejected by the restaurant. Spoke to restaurant who said they hadn't received order from Deliveroo. After speaking to Deliveroo they said restaurant admitted rejection. Not sure who was in the wrong or right... However, we re-ordered and received it 45 minutes later. Pizza was awful. Thick, doughy, inedible base and... More
