We pre-booked for pre-theatre dinner for 6 of us, when we arrived we were shown to a table set for 5 people, which staff quickly sorted. White Wine was not chilled and we had to send two bottles back. Prosecco was also not chilled. Having...More

We enjoyed a relaxing cup of coffee in this calm and elegant building. It is a pleasant escape from the busy city.

One of my favourites for afternoon tea in Norwich. Very grand and ideal for a treat. I visited with a couple of my girlfriends late one afternoon and we had a lovely time. Food was good and plentiful and we came out stuffed to the...More

Visited the Assembly House for an afternoon tea with friends and had a lovely afternoon. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food selection was brilliant with sandwiches (which we had refilled), savoury and sweet scones, and cakes, for a really reasonable price....More

The set price pre-theatre meal was disappointing. We had a lamb flatbread starter which was supposed to be minty but was fatty and no trace of mint; my main was pan fried red mullet which was two overcooked minuscule fillets (smaller than a fish finger)...More

Having not been for a while I went for afternoon tea with friends. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were offered inside seating in the restaurant or outside on the sunny terrace. One of our group does not drink hot drinks, so a...More
