Best scones ever at this lovely cafe. Freshly baked, generous and with all the trimmings. A delicious selection of other cakes and treats available as well. One of my favourite places to visit in Whitby.

We were looking for somewhere to have a quick drink and maybe something to eat. My girlfriend suggested it and we went it. The atmosphere was lovely like a traditional tea shop. We had coffee's sandwiches and cake. All aspects were nice and the amount of cake and sweet treats on offer were brilliant. I could have easily had a... More

From the outside this place looks great but looks are not the full story. No menu or price if you ask the some what unhelpful staff it will greeted with a blank asking for a receipt seams to be an act of rocket science too. Most of the the cake is bought in and is not home made or worthy... More

On a holiday from fitness training and a careful diet this is a real find. The service was very welcoming and the cakes fantastic. Yep a week off so we will return. Thankfully we don't live too close because this would be too much temptation.

We were looking for somewhere in Whitby for coffee and cake and stumbled across this little place. It doesn't look much from the outside, but boy are looks deceptive. What an amazing range of cakes! I had a raspberry and vanilla cheesecake and my partner had white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, both of which we loved. Great coffee too. Would... More

Been passed many times but never called in....what a find. Quaint place with delicious scones and cake . Generous helpings too. Coffee and tea just right....can imagine music gets annoying for some people but added to the ambience for us.

Just below this Tea Shop's name, the sign suggests "Let them eat cake"; positioned over a traditional window filled with well presented large mouthwatering cakes. Although we were keen for a good cup of tea, we opted to earn our cake by climbing the 199 steps to the church and Abbey, and returning to Marie Antoinette's on our way back... More

Popped in for tea and cake, was a bit worried as little seating but found more upstairs. Staff great, prices decent for tourist spot. Food excellent! We only had tea and scones but they were really fresh and tasted superb. Place has a good atmosphere going . Would certainly visit again

We spotted the Patisserie whilst ambling through the quaint streets of Whitby and this window boasted the most impressive looking cakes! I hinted to my partner later on and he brought me back to satisfy my need for cake. The shop is quirky and quaint and the cake was lovely! Recommend.

We have had lunch here on two occasions and both were very good. The sandwiches are very nice and the scones excellent. Also the tea is very good. inside, the building can be described as "quaint" or "cramped" depending on your perspective. The stairs to the seating area upstairs are steep and curved so not good if you are not... More
