Visited here today. Always used Russell’s for spam and chips when we come to Whitby but won’t be rushing back. Small price increase which wasn’t a problem but poor customer service from the two lads that served us and the chips where as if they...More
We had the best fish and chips we have ever had on the East coast. We got a great welcome, our order was taken efficiently we were even asked if we wanted our fish skinned. Food cooked to order so fresh and absolutely perfect. The...More
The owner has terrible customer relations he screamed at us for basically asking if they did a childs fish and then requesting a sausage cooking. Screaming that he will only serve one person at a time! May i add there was one other couple eating...More
A good old-fashioned style British chippy! And it was fabulous - not only chips but we were offered (and got!) "batter bits" - it took us straight back to our childhoods - you have to be a certain age to know what "batter bits" are...More
Lots and lots of places to eat and found this place. Got some seating inside with a view of the harbour Excellent priced compared with others and big portions would recommend and would go back
Had sausage and chips with a pot of gravy, absolutely trumps any other chippy by a country mile! Delicious
Simply the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter on the fish was divine, so light and crispy! The portion was very generous as well. I didn't need much to eat later in the day.
Visited one weekend lunchtime. Cheaper than some of the other fish and chips places in Whitby but just as tasty. Lovely cooked fish and chips, definitely worth a visit!
Fresh fish and chips cooked to order by lovely friendly people cant get better than that not the poshest but that is reflected in the price.
