Very spacious, good attention to Covid Protection. Had a coffee & good selection of cake, nice ambience in centre of York. Friendly staff, would recommend.

Gorgeous little cafe on by the bridge going over the river. Staff was very friendly and food was to die for would definitely recommend the Smoked Salmon English Muffin.

An excellent cafe with a lovely menu and a fantastic staff team who are so polite, outgoing and made me feel so welcome. A perfect spot to stop off for a delicious meal with York overall being a perfect place to visit. Thank you

We were looking for somewhere to lunch and trying to avoid the chain restaurants, of which there are plenty. Glad we found this place. A nice old fashioned cafe offering honest and simple food. There is a good menu which should suit most tastes. Staff...were helpful and efficient. There were good ciovid measures in place and the layout is spacious.More

Absolutely lovely breakfast! Both adults and children’s! Clean plates all round! Very reasonably priced (especially if there before 11am). Staff attentive and friendly, will definitely visit again! Thank you Baileys

We came in for breakfast, before starting our journey home, and they really set us up well. Eggs cooked just the way we like them.

Visited recently for a cuppa and scone. Spot on. The scone was fresh and warm. Plenty of jam and cream to put on too. Menu looked good for a lunch. Service good Reasonable prices. Clean and tidy

My husband and I use this restaurant regularly we have always found the food excellent and reasonably priced, from breakfast to lunch and tea, the meals are well cooked and well presented, you can have a full English breakfast, or just choose items you want,...to a lovely lunch or tea....the menu is extensive from toasted teacake to a full meal or an open sandwich or baguette....always clean and staff friendly and welcoming, this family owned cafe will not disappoint.More

Had the all day breakfast. The food here isnt the best quality ... the sausage didnt look like it had ever seen a pig! But the service was good and it was fairly inexpensive

Very basic breakfast. Had to pay extra for mushrooms which were fried in oil and dumped on my plate. 2 breakfasts with tea £19.. This is only for tourists! Avoid!
