We arrived at this restaurant at around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon for some lunch. The setting was very nice; we sat outside, nice decor, outdoor heating and extra blankets on each chair which was a nice touch. We ordered a starter and a main....More

We were staying a stones throw from here and ate here on the first night. We shared a starter of sweet chilli squid and goats cheese and beetroot cheesecake, both dishes were absolutely delicious and I had the duck breast and my wife had pan...More

We had heard great thing about this restaurant so thought we would try it out. The service was great... friendly staff and food was prompt. I’m not quite sure if it was just the atmosphere but it just felt a bit average to spend £70...More

Looked a nice place (down an alleyway, but tables outside and patio heaters made the place feel cosy) - however, the restaurant lacked any sort of atmosphere which was a shame. Food order was taken too quickly (didn't even get chance to order drinks first,...More

I'm sure they are open Sundays but just double check on their website. It's about a 10 min walk from your hotel. Enjoy

We only ate lunch but there was a selection of soups, tomato & goat cheese risotto, pan-fried halloumi cheese on Niçoise salad etc. There may have been other selections on the board but I can't remember.

Nestled down an alley in the center of York you’ll find Ate O’Clock restaurant. Our recently refurbished restaurant now seats 100 people, offering indoor & outdoor dining. The restaurant offers a relaxing, friendly atmosphere with courteous, efficient staff. Our menus use fresh, local produce, cooked to order, and mostly home-made. Outside allows for lunch in the sun, a pre-dinner drinks area, or after dinner coffee chill-out zone. The seating arrangements, parasols and outside heated lamps make the area comfortable all year round.
