Well, we called initially in Lucia’s restaurant, but we could not get a table for at least 30 minutes, so after looking on TripAdvisor, we walked around the corner to loss Moross, as it got very good reviews. We were very surprised to find that...More

I had been wanting to try this place out so got a group of freinds together for a meal out here. The group had grown to 10 blokes, some with less than adventurous tastes, and who eyed the menu with suspicion. However the waitress explained...More

We visited the restaurant knowing that the street food stand in the Shambles market had a very good reputation. We were not disappointed. Decor lovely, plain with Moorish touches, staff fantastic and food superb. Everything tasted cooked to order, super fresh and had what I...More

The anticipated wait for the restaurants opening exceeded expectation. The food is bursting with authentic flavours, colours and is well presented. We shared various small plates to start, including the halloumi, chicken wings, feta dip and the boureks, all were absolutely delicious, perfect for sharing...More

The food here is absolutely delicious! My friend and I got a few dishes to share and each dish was packed with its own unique flavours. The ambience in the restaurant is nice and feels very relaxed. The only disappointing thing was that the service...More

A group of friends and I ate at at the restaurant recently.Nothing wrong with the meal overall, but certainly there are a few things that this restaurant will need to do if it is to match the popularity of the market stall (which is excellent)....More

I and my partner decided to try the new restaurant in town. The staff were polite enough. The starters were nice. The menu didn't look like north african. I wouldn't call haloumi and feta cheese dishes north African. Unfortunately I decided to go for the...More

Description
Colourful food in the centre of York with courtyard garden. The street food stall has always been a space for meeting and eating together; eating well and not too seriously. Our restaurant gives us chance to make dishes we can’t at the market, and to welcome people to eat with us night and day. We like to think we serve special food without the song and dance.
