I was staying in a hotel in that area and wanted to have a quick takeaway dinner. The food was delicious, I had some spring rolls, chicken soup and special chow mein. Good prices and excellent food!

Obviously changed their name to get away from recent bad reviews for Lee Garden. Travel company said this was fantastic Malaysian food. What a joke! It was terribly poor Chinese food with a piece of Chilli added to each dish! Our tour group consisted of of a large group of Malaysians and Chinese. The travel company clearly didn't check to... This restaurant changed hands at the start of 2015. It is now unequivocally dreadful. The formerly excellent food is now poor and conventional, and the service is appalling. My husband and my late former partner have eaten here almost weekly since it opened about 20 years ago, and have always enjoyed it. A bit cheap and cheerful, admittedly, but the... More

The atmosphere leaves something to be desired. There is a lack of care about the premises and it looks as though no one really cares very much. The service was a bit haphazard and perhaps overly informal. But there was a group of Oriental people (students?) finishing their meal which was a good sign. As far as the food we... More

our hotel had the menu for the restaurant and it look ideal but the menu we got inside wasn't the one we had been eyeing up. I also noticed that the bar has NO spirits at it and you could only buy wine by the bottle. We decided to leave and go elsewhere as it wasn't a cheap Chinese. There... More

Had a takeaway, salt and pepper ribs and a spl curry. Came in about 5 minutes which I thought was not a good sign, sure enough the food was v poor. Ribs were scrawny, little meat and in some sort of sauce, should have been the dry type, not much taste. The curry was a strange colour, watery and tasteless.... More

Visited this restaurant with some work colleagues whilst working locally as we fancied a Chinese one night. The restaurant was cold and almost lifeless, not a lot to keep the eye amused. The food was as typical Chinese you would expect, nothing special but certainly not awful. I appreciate it's the winter time and maybe this has had an effect... More
