Beer selection is always good, food is great, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the whisky selection is just about the best I've seen in Nottingham. Highly recommended!

Was pleasantly surprised when we called in for a quick drink and ended up staying for two hrs! Vast, vast choices of draft beer, craft beer, gin and whiskey, it really is a little haven

It's small size is both a negative and a positive - you need to visit when the optimum number are there - too many and it can be a crush. But the beer is great - the Castle Rock beer at least. Harvest Pale is reliably good, but I'd recommend Preservation and Elsie Mo. Now, they don't have Elsie on... More

We popped in for Sunday lunch before a visit to the ice hockey. The quality of the food was amazing. It has a small kitchen so the menu is restricted. Time waiting for our meal was longer than the 25 minutes suggested, nearer 45 but it was certainly worth the wait. I had the vegetarian option of Lincolnshire sausages, others... More

Found just next to St.Mary's Church a short walk back to the tram. For a Castle Rock pub to only have one Castle Rock Beer available was not a great start so had to console myself with a fine Tea Beer (hints of Earl Grey) and the award winning Tiny Rebel, Cwtch.

The Keans Head is a great traditional drinking pub. Good for local beers and also a good selection of Gin. Situated just off the main shopping district in the Lace Market area, opposite St Mary's church.

Great atmosphere, massive range of local, national, and international ales and lagers. Staff are very knowledgeable about the beer. Full of friendly locals.

Met a group of friends here for a night out. Some great beers but as the pub filled up the noise seemed to echo off the walls. Located in a very pleasant area of the Lace Market area of the city centre.

Excellent pub, great beer, great food. We've been here quite a few times and the beer is always great. The menu is small but wide ranging and everything we've ever eaten here has been very good. And according to my daughter the draft ciders are also excellent. The expensive craft beers are a bit gimmicky but I'm sure the fad... More

Too much choice for real ales - excellent atmosphere and not too busy and for me that is a good thing - would recommend to all you real ale drinkers
