Been going here for years. Always beautiful food & such good value. It's not a anglified place... just genuinely authentic. Hearty good wishes to Jack the boss!

Doesn't get better than this, charcoal cooked food, great variation of dishes, friendly and quick service and all at a very reasonable cost, if opulent surroundings are your thing then this is not for you, if you want authentic Indian Cuisine you are in good hands!!

This place is very basic, few tables in front of the foot counter and kitchen. However the food is amazing. We had starters, two curries, rice, Nan and two mango drinks......£16. Couldn't fault the food, plenty of it and spicy without the pain. Very happy and shall return

I come here quite often with friends and I can say on the last couple of occasions it's gone down hill a bit. The spicy curries are now horrendously hot, and the others just don't seem to taste as rich as they used to. The mango lassi, breads etc are still excellent though. I realise they are two different places... More

THE FOOD: The dishes I have tried so far are authentic and flavoursome. The meat is of a good quality and the portions represent good value for money. I am never disappointed by the food here, although some of the curries are on the hotter side - choose wisely! THE SERVICE: They are usually quite busy, however the food is... More

I have been here on and off for years. Most of the time the food is excellent and the service is prompt. At other times however, the curry is never the same and service sometimes very slow. It is only a small space to be fair though but the grilled food is always top notch. The cleanliness is ok but... More

It really does feel like you are in a cafe in Pakistan. The place certainly isn't a restaurant, and it's a bit noisy and busy. But it's a fantastic place to go to. The food is outstanding. Some of the best Asian food I've ever eaten. I tried the grilled fish starter for the first time and it really was... More

This is the only place I will come just to have its lamb shanks curry. The lamb shanks is so smooth and it comes with a reasonable price. The gravy is so delicious and it can be served either with rice or naan. Furthermore, the service here is superb. Last time, the 3 of us went to the shop for... More
