Booked over the phone with a lovely lady who explained as it was my mum's 50th birthday she would let us have an afternoon tea for 3 (normally can only be booked for 4) but we would have to go to the other tea rooms as she didn't have room which was fine. We turned up at the other tea... More

Having just arrived in Nottingham we came across this coffee shop as we walked past, caught our eye with it being a bit different, noticing vintage cups and plates as well as the cakes. Can't complained about the food that we had - fresh sandwiches and cakes. The only thing that did put off was when we arrived a couple... More

Had been in for a cup of tea with a friend before which was ok so decided to take my Mum there for lunch. The Women was quite rude when i asked if i could have the special but without the Salmon. She said it wouldn't "look " right. I said i didn't mind what it looked like but i... More

Went here with my friend to catch up and ordered the afternoon tea set. Cost £15 per person and you get a choice of finger sandwiches, a scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam and some cakes (which included a lemon poppy seed cake, a toffee cake?, a chocolate cupcake and a peanut butter cupcake). I ordered the egg and... More

This is my favourite tea house. It serves big fluffy scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. You can choose your tea from distinguish Drury tea range, my all time choice is green tea with black cherry. You will love their gorgeous china and homely decoration of the tearoom. Feels free to choose one of their cakes although most of... More

A group of us visited on Sunday afternoon. We had cakes, hot drinks and sandwiches. All portion sizes were good and prices reasonable. The food was tasty, although we felt we couldn't taste the flavours of the cakes we'd purchased. All served on china too which made it look very pretty. Unfortunately, seating was too crammed and each time the... More

Stopped for pot of tea and tea cake during Christmas shopping. Not the fastest service, but friendly staff and good cup of tea. Worth a try for tea and cake. Only downside is they don't take cards, so had to run round to cashpoint for cash :(

We hadn't managed to get together for ages, so I recommended that we go here for an afternoon tea (supposedly to replace both lunch and dinner, as you would usually expect from an afternoon tea spread). Such a lovely place...tucked away, warm and cosy, beautiful china and comfy chairs. Baked goods look amazing, and I've had lovely cakes there in... More

Dear Suzanne, I rarely reply to reviews on Trip Advisor, but I do when I feel we have been wrongly criticised, and when customers bend the truth to exaggerate their point. Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting The White Rabbit Teahouse. Being one of the few independent cafes still remaining in Nottingham, means... More

Lovely (if small) teahouse hidden away in the centre of Nottingham, usually very busy! A good selection of food and homemade cakes on offer, beautiful china and lovely ambience. Staff are friendly and helpful. There isn't really room for pushchairs so we usually sit outside, which is covered over and just fine.
