The place was comfortable and the food was lovely. I had cheese on toast and it was beautifully 'cheesy'. My sister had soup and said it was very good.

Just popped in for a quick coffee but sadly the cappuccino was more like hot milk. Clearly some barista type training necessary. Place was clean but would hesitate to return. Had no food so cannot comment on that.

Alex and Cassie husband and wife are very friendly & polite. I have been into their Bistro at different times of the day. With different things on menu throughout the day, we popped in for breakfast. Lots of choice, I enjoyed Eggs Florentine, perfectly cooked eggs, whilst my friend had the full cooked English . brilliant service with a smile.... More

I visit this cafe specifically to enjoy Eggs Benedict, but yesterday, although they tasted as good as ever the size had shrunk - what has happened to the muffins? If this is an economy measure it's self-defeating. Also the yolk of one of the eggs had broken before I was served - the waitress hadn't noticed the yolk running across... More

What a lovely evening meal and a very comfortable atmosphere. There were 5 of us. 4 of us had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. The summer chicken stew went down very well too. So nice to be in a restaurant that isn't a chain like the ones in West Bridgford and it's on my doorstep! Result! You... More

Visited this Cafe whilst waiting for the car to have tyre fitted at the local garage. Greeted with a very warm welcome from the female owner who was prompt to serve us. The lattes were lovely and the Eggs Royal and Eggs Benedict were fantastic and well presented. The female owner kindly held our 12 week old baby Lenny enabling... More

I've been to the village cafe and bistro many times over the last couple of years and I can honestly say I've had a great experience every time. The service is impeccable, and I've always been served with a smile and been made to feel very welcome. I've tried many different meals and I've always been very impressed by not... More

Went for an evening meal whilst visiting friends. The food was lovely and we all throughly enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice touch that the Chef/Owner came out to talk to us at the end of the evening to check we had enjoyed the food. Will go again next time we are in Keyworth.

For a local person I hadn't been in this place. A few weeks ago I had to pass an hour away waiting for my car to be MOT'd early morning. I decided I would treat myself and not have breakfast at home but go here for it. I didn't want a huge cooked breakfast so opted for the smoked salmon... More

Thank you for your review and brining it to our attention that you were disappointed by the breakfast you had. We are really sorry to hear this as we pride ourselves in the quality of our food and service. The bread we used is pre-slice so im sorry you found it to thick for your likings. We do not use... We have enjoyed eating in the restaurant, so were delighted to discover that Alex and Cassie also offer an outside catering service. We asked them to cater for 75 guests attending a family wedding, and we were very pleased with the service we received. Alex was flexible and creative in the menus options he offered, the food he produced was... More
