Popped in for a pint on a recent overnight trip to Nottingham. Was attracted by the name of the place and was impressed by their choice of beer/draft and impressive can collection in the fridge also. I had a pint of the Chainless and it...was a tasty, looked after pint. Friendly staff and a nice pub, would definitely go backMore

Went here for lunch as it was nearby Nottingham Castle. Immediately loved the décor and the space. The guy behind the bar was friendly. Found a nice, clean roomy table to sit by. Very impressed by the choice of beers, great selection of cans and...craft ales. The food menu was small but adequate for our needs and I was very impressed by the vegan options. I ordered the standard vegan burger but was told they had run out of vegan cheese. This wasn't a problem but when the burger came the coleslaw was also missing. Everyone else I was with had no coleslaw either. The burger was okay but nothing special. The fries were okay too but I didn't get a great amount and for £10 I thought it was overpriced. All in all though I liked it here and it would be worth a try if you're in the area and you like ales and craft beers.More

Well, what a breath of fresh air to find a friendly, clean, atmospheric pub that has meat as an option instead of the staple diet. Everything served had veggie, vegan and meat options, which was perfect as I am vegetarian, partner is a meat eater...and daughter a vegan so everyone was happy. Situated just outside the castle entrance so enjoyable views. Friendly service, tasty inexpensive food, nice decor and a choice of comfy seats. Well recommended!!More

My twin brother Stephen and I were hitting the pubs around Nottingham Castle and dropped by The Crafty Crow Pub, a pub we always look forward to visiting on any trip to Nottingham we take. I love the look of this pub ,the interior is...superb, set over two floors, an eye catching rustic looking serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the very impressive Nottingham Castle, this is were we chose to sit on a roasting hot Tuesday afternoon. We were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered a pale ale each from Magpie Brewery, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub and took in the great views of Nottingham Castle afforded from this pub. My pale ale was really good, a well balanced pale ale, golden in colour ,slightly hoppy, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish, a classic British pale ale, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and in such a cool location. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to The Crafty Crow Pub we had a great time. The Crafty Crow Pub is easy to locate along Friar Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Midday till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till 11pm. Sunday, 11am till 10pm. A wonderful pub, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.More

We went to the Crafty Crow as a family this evening after my husband finished work. The beer and drinks were up to their usual standard, unfortunately the food wasn’t. As we sat down we were told that they were having a problem with the...oven in the kitchen. No problem, we just wanted a ploughman’s baguette and a burger. The burger was fine although the salad leaves were past their best. Our ploughman’s baguette was a disaster. It wasn’t a baguette, it was two slightly dry slices of bread. There was no cheese on one half, a huge slice of tomato and slimy salad leaves. Barely a cheese sandwich let alone a ploughman’s for c£6 too. I sent mine back once and asked for some cheese at least. I did get more but when I noticed the slimy salad leaves I was put off and ate only half. I gave feedback to the waitress who apologised but there was no compensation. Not your best day, Craft Crow sorry.More

The Crafty Crow on Friar Lane is a tap-room that offers an excellent range of cask ales and a very good food menu. This is the tap-room for the Magpie brewery and offers two continuous Magpie brewery cask ales and several local and national cask...ales. With lots of wood panelling throughout the whole interior and superb light feature's throughout the tap-rooms interior with excellent seating option's both inside and outside'it's the perfect spot for a few Magpie brewery ales or a tasty meal. After visiting the outstanding pub"Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem"we went here for a few beers. As it was a roasting hot day we decided to sit outside after we ordered our ales which were a couple of pint's of Magpie brewery Pale ales which where superb and well priced. The Crafty Crow is a fantastic tap-room and well worth a visit as there beer range is excellent and the staff are really friendly and it's in an excellent area of Nottingham and is easy to find from Maid Marion Way bus stop its a short walk. (This is my first review of the Crafty Crow). Opening Hours. Monday-Friday-12.00-23.00. Saturday-11.00-23.00. Sunday-11.00-21.00. Nearest Bus Stop. Maid Marion Way bus stop.More

Absolutely disgraceful staff, have the cheek to put pride flags up but are transphobic and try and tell a trans male to use the woman’s bathroom. If you are LGBTQ or an ally don’t support these people

Always a warm welcome, even in the Covid times, with social distancing taken very seriously but with a smile. Always great beer on offer, a section of craft in addition to four hand pumps, all very well kept. I am usually a meat eater but...their vegetarian food is amazing and reasonably priced too. This is truly one of Nottingham’s best pubs.More
