Proclaim I’m going to Nottingham, acquire list of best pubs in Nottingham, go to Nottingham, visit said pubs... and this was our favourite! Glorious grub and great ale on the (I think) 8 hand-pulls. Highly recommended!

Nothing more to be said really. Good traditional atmosphere, and mix of small rooms to create an intimate atmosphere. Not just real ale but well-chosen, well-kept real ale. Live music at times. A delight to return.

I visit here often and like that they have such a good selection of vegetarian food. I like the ambience of the place and imagine that the garden space will be wonderful to enjoy when we have some sunshine!
