Absolutely delicious Sunday roast, without a doubt the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, with the roast lunch very popular with locals so I would advise you to book ahead!

My friends and I used to use this pub regularly especially when SJ and Paul ran it, and it was fabulous. The food was always good and the Sunday night folk singing was legendary and a great excuse for locals and people from the surrounding...More

A pretty little Cotswold pub in a scenic village....should be perfect, but wasn't. The staff were very helpful and friendly, but The pub seemed to have half the menu 'unavailable' (probably being a brewery pub this stuff needs to be ordered in and not cooked...More

Great old pub, lovely location, good range of real ales - what's not to like? Complacency that's what! When you have all the above ingredients and you are on the Cotswold tourist trail, then all you have to do is open the doors and the...More

This is a lovely place to pop in for a pub lunch. Terrific food--fish, meat, and veg. Variety of taps. Friendly service. Kids welcome and will love it.

What seems like hundreds of mugs or ale steins hang from the rafters, the lighting is dim, and tables are cozy in this quaint thatched roof pub. My husband and I shared a delicious chicken liver pate as a starter, then he tried the duck...More
